Sbandieratori the pride of our hearts
The spectacular performance is devoted to the medieval Italian discipline of knightly flag juggling. The project combines an educational element included in the narrative with extraordinary flag shows, characteristic of our group.
It is an original story about passion, honour, brotherhood, male rivalry, but mainly about the strength that the group gives.
The action of the show unfolds at the turn of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance in the square of one of the charming towns in sunny Tuscany - the cradle of the Italian art of flag juggling.
The play is a form of stage honouring the art of Sbandieratori, which we have been deepening for more than 10 years now and which is still alive and popular thanks to its centuries-old tradition, required by juggling techniques and spectacularity.

Storyline
A characteristic element of the show is the narration, which will introduce the audience to the atmosphere of the whole performance, telling about the discipline and announcing the most spectacular elements. With their actions, the artists will take the audience to an Italian festival full of joy, bustle and the sound of music. There will be the whisper of cicadas, characteristic for picturesque Tuscany, a nobleman on horseback and the romantic story that always appears in knightly tales.
The key to building the content of the entire show is the division into two categories, the Sbandieratori disciplines: classical and artistic-acrobatic. The division is the direct cause of the creation of two Sbandieratori teams that compete with each other. This rivalry is the main part of the plot. The story told by the narrator is illustrated by onstage activities and interwoven with solo performances and ensemble duets.
The major message of the performance is the praise of brotherhood and the strength of the team, hidden in the diversity of characters, combined with the common passion and the crave for development. The show ends with a great final, which presents the whole group of flag-throwers.
